My Experiences
I grew up in a family where business and engineering were both dinner table topics.
My grandfather built a small restaurant from scratch. At one point, government officials and politicians would regularly stop by for a bowl of noodles. My uncles built computer and IC design companies, which meant I was exposed to computers long before I understood how they worked.
Most of my siblings and cousins eventually found their way into semiconductors, data centers, or supply chains. Surprisingly, I picked software and startups from day one.
I've always preferred learning broadly over specializing. I studied international business in college, where I learned finance and marketing. Later, I majored in color engineering and spent my time exploring computer vision, psychophysics, and human perception. Along the way, I joined an exchange program focused on engineering management and statistics. That's also where my machine learning journey began.
Tech, math, and business are my jam. This page is my running log of the stories and decisions that got me here. Hope you enjoy it.
